I have a iBUYPOWER BB921 that I had since Christmas of 2016, and I have made plenty of upgrades to it before in the past.

I also have a USB wireless adapter that I use to connect it to the internet, but it sometimes turns off and disconnects, which is pretty annoying.

So I've been thinking of getting a possible wireless adapter card, as it could be a better choice. My computer's motherboard has empty slots as seen in these images. I'm also thinking about choosing one of these wireless cards for my PC: Choice 1Choice 2Choice 3Choice 4

Do you think I would be able to install a wireless card of some sort into my PC?

I can't give an opinion on the Wifi Cards but regarding the USB wireless adapter sometimes turning off make sure USB selective suspend is disabled. That may be the cause of the problem.

I followed the directions from the From the Device Manager section over a week ago, and since then, my USB wireless adapter never turned off.

Thanks for the help! Now I'll know what to do in case I ever got myself a new PC in the future.

Check your motherboard's manual or manufacturer's website: This will specify the type of PCIe slots your motherboard has (PCIe x1, x4, x16) and compatible wireless cards.
