Regular sfc errors across 3 systems (not 4th) only commonality is the same Micro

Hello all,

 

I have 2 desktops and a laptop and I sign into all 3 with the same microsoft account all 3 regularly have sfc errors. This was almost daily but since turning off wake timers on all 3 machines it has reduced to every few days. All machines have the latest updates, including graphics drivers and chipsets.

All 3 have been recently wiped and had windows 10 Pro freshly installed (from a fresh iso generated on a PC without issues) in an attempt to stop the problem. This did not work.

Sfc and Dism have been used extensively in attemps to fix the problems. All machines have passed memtest with flying colours, crystaldisk reports no issues with the ssd's, memory speeds have been lowered also to no avail as this did not fix the problem.

All drivers and Bios are up to date as of time of writing.

The specs of the all 4 (3 with issues and one without)machines follow:

PC1 Ryzen 5800X3D 32gb 3600 gskill ddr4 (F4-3600C16D-16GVK), Gigabyte X570S Aorus pro AX, Gigabyte M.2 ssd Gigabyte AG437 1tb, Asus 7900XT, Corsair RN750X Gold Power supply

PC2 Ryzan 5700X, 32gb 3600 gskill ddr4 (F4-3600C16D-16GVK), Gigabyte B550 Aorus Master, M.2 ssd Samsung EVO 970+ 1tb, MSI 6700XT, Tharmal take GF1 750watt Gold Power supply.

PC3 (Laptop) Asus ROG GL702ZC-GC166T, Ryzen 1700, 32gb Crucial 3200 DDR4, M.2 ssd Adata Pro 8200, RX480 4gb, 120 wat Asus power brick and internal battery.

PC4 (No issues, uses a different microsoft account) Ryzen 5800X, 32gb 3600 gskill ddr4 (F4-3600C16D-16GVK), Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AXM.2 ssd 970 EVO 1tb, Asus 7800XT, Thermal take GF1 750 watt Power supply

The only commonality between the 3 machines with issues is the microsoft account. Could their be corrution on Microsoft servers related to my account that is filtering down to these machine as I do use 365 and One drive.

Any suggestions (that I haven't already tried) are appreciated.

I'm starting to suspect something is wrong on the Microsoft end.

FOr some reason the specs on the PC 2 (i ran it on the other machine appear to be the same....)

Ah One drive was the reason for the duplication. Deleted output file prior to generating a new one and no more duplication.

 

I'll await assesment from you on the minitool data. @cryptodan

@Psiboy: seeking help simultaneously in multiple venues is certainly your prerogative.

Doing so, however, can lead to duplicated efforts, conflicting advice & confusion for everyone.
This is especially so since you are seeking help for multiple different computers.

It would be preferable to work in only ONE computer help forum at a time.
(And for that matter, it would be less confusing to work on only ONE computer at a time.)

PC1 - why do you have so many partitions you should stick to just one partition and I'm gonna recommend you backup all data on it and delete all partitions and reinstall windows.

Pc2 - incomplete log showing no drive information.

Pc3 - see no issues

Also what are these machines used for?

@cryptodan Thanks for the analysis. They are primarily used for VM's with PC 1 being gaming, video compression and photo editing and VM's as well. All those "partitions" are actual drives. PC1 has a total of 3 m.2 ssd's and 4 HDDS as well as an optical drive dvd/rw. SO I ain't re-installing windows when I've only just done it recently across all 3 machines and it didn't fix the issues.

 

PC 2's specs.I will run the program again and repost.  (VM's and light gaming)

 

PC 3 aKa laptop is purely a workhorse for VM's and also has dual boot to Kali Linux for my studies.

 

@moxiemomma I didn't assume the same people were on both sites? Apologies if you all are. The issue with all 3 machines is the same and all 3 machines at their core are not entirely dissimiiiar. Apologies if this causes confusion. (respectfully submitted).
