I've downloaded and ran the relevant drivers, but everything in sound options is greyed out. No headphones, no nothing- just "No Audio Device".

If I go to device manager, there is no sound device in there either.

Any thoughts?

It was suggested that it might be a bad audio controller- obviously I'm hoping that's NOT the problem lol, cuz that's likely outside of my ability to fix.

So it certainly was just something I missed lol.

I thought that downloading and installing the audio drivers would be enough- silly me! I had to go to win/drivers/audio and run setup.exe and then it worked. Dur.
