Nowadays, more and more users switch from using various 3rd-party Antivirus software to Microsoft Defender Antivirus and Firewall in Windows 10/11.

To uninstall their 3rd-party Antivirus, users can utilize a free Antivirus uninstall tool, such as the free Antivirus Removal Tool by Alexandre Coelho. :)

And hence, my question is as follows:

What is your opinion on the free Antivirus Removal Tool by Alexandre Coelho?

Thank you very much in advance!

It was written and is maintained by a member of a computer repair business owners forum I am a member of.

I personally have not used it since the only 3rd party product on my client's computers is Malwarebytes.

It scans the computer for AV software and then runs the current uninstall tool from the mfg of the AV.

The Antivirus Removal Tool has been on our List of Antivirus Uninstallers and Removal Tools for several years. A link is also included on Replacing your Anti-virus - List of Antivirus Uninstallers and Removal Tools (Post #3).
