Many sites I go to produce the message 'It seems you're using an ad blocker'. I don't have any ad blockers so why am I getting this message and how would I stop this happening?

Has Malwarebytes  anything to do with it which I have, the free version?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi:

No, Malwarebytes Free would not cause this - it is only an on-demand scanner; it provides no real-time protection.

1) Do you have Malwarebytes Browser Guard or other, similar browser extensions installed?

2) What security applications do you run in real-time?

3) What browser or browsers are you using?

What browser are you using?

The more popular ones now block some ads as part of 'tracking protection' a standard security feature.

Some websites will also complain you are using an adblocker if your have set your browser to block 3rd party cookies.

If you have set your browsers security to "Strict" (or whatever your particular browser calls it's highest level) then try puting it back to 'Standard' or 'Basic'.

eg, this is from Firefox settings:

It may help others to advise you if you give a link to a trusted website that you see that

comment on.
