Hi my contract with Vodafone finished yesterday. I'm now with shell.
Will I have to plug in my new shell router because I noticed I'm still getting broadband with my old Vodafon router.

Almost certainly yes, as soon as Vodafone re-allocate your present IP address anything you are still getting via Vodafone will stop.
