When I unzip a file that has numerous .jpg photographs is there a way that I can view the individual .jpg files without having to do it one at a time? Is there software that I can use that would act as a slideshow approach to looking at the files?

What Program are you using yo Un-Zip them?
When you unzip, try "Open as a folder in the same Folder" or similar wording

If you unzip the .jpg photos to a single folder, you can click on one of the .jpg files and use Windows 10 "Photos" app to view them one at a time. There is an ">" symbol to the right side, middle of the screen, and you can scroll through your photos progressively.
I hope this helps. Have a great day.

Read, then download free Faststone Image viewer
You'll be able to see all the pictures in a folder. It's a wonderful utility.

I've always liked IrfanView, but any software that allows you to slideshow through photos will work.

Open your zip folder and copy all your images and paste it on another folder.

It's likely that the OP has resolved the issue by now.

I use XnViewMP freeware for viewing images in a folder. It is easy to change the size of the thumbnails or create a slideshow to view full size. You can also move or copy to another folder using the program.

Yes, there are a few ways to view individual .jpg files without having to do it one at a time. Use the built-in photo viewer in Window or any third-party photo viewers, such as IrfanView, FastStone Image Viewer, and XnView. These viewers typically offer more features than the built-in photo viewer in Windows, such as the ability to create slideshows.
Also, there are many slideshow creator software available, such as Windows Movie Maker, PowerPoint, and Adobe After Effects. These programs allow you to create slideshows with music, transitions, and other effects.
