I know this isn't about a dvd burner on a computer but I hope I can get an answer to the question I want to buy a dvd burner so I can burn an OS to a dvd disc but I wonder if I can play dvd movies on a burner and can I use an anti virus disc to download it to a computer as well. I suspect I can but I have never owned one before so I'm not sure thanks for any help.

Sure...just do a Google search using portable dvd burner and player and you will see many for sale.

FYI. You can't burn a DVD of Windows 10 unless the burner can burn a dual layer DVD. The OS is over 4.7GB. Any linux distro should work or any Windows OS previous to Windows 10. You can play movies on the portable DVD player but you would need software like VLC to do it.
