I am looking for a tablet to replace my very old Samsung A3. i only really use it for general browsing, watching youtube or movies and playing online poker. I bought the Fusion5 104Bv2 profrom Amazon but returned it as I wasn't happy with the sound quality when playing videos, it sounded muffled and a bit echoey. I know for £100 i'm not exactly going to get high end speakers but when comapared to my old samsung there was a big difference in quaity and seemed pretty poor

I am now looking at the Vankyo MatrixPad S30 or the S20.

Just worried i might have the same problem. I know i'm not going to get amazing sound quality but wouldn't expect it to be as poor as the Fusion5. I am also quite tempted with the Huawei MediaPad T3 10 as i have a Huawei phone but i am slightly worried about the ongoing issues with Huawei. Could it cause any future issues with updates and apps if they stop working with google?

If you're willing to up your price some, Lenovo has a great line of tablets.  When I saw their Tab 2 A10 unit, I had to get two.  Around $150. USD  it is a great unit.   capable of 1080 and with great sound.  With a bobjgear silicone protect frame, is durable and handy.  Not that slim or light but easy to use and great quality.

I can't seem to find that Lenovo in the UK. According to Lenovo it is an older model and they have the E10 or the F10. Are the ones I mentioned not good?

Would pairing a Tablet with lower grade speakers to portable bluetooth speakers work? Some of those put out very good sound.

Hadn't thought about that to be honest. Think I have a Bluetooth speaker somewhere. Might be a bit annoying having to connect it every time I use it

Once you pair the speakers I believe they will auto connect to the paired tablet when turned on but I could be wrong.

Ok thanks for the advice. Do you have any opinion on the vankyo tablets? Or if it is risky to buy a Huawei

My daughter was looking at a Vankyo for $90. It seems to be a decent tablet for the price but they were out of stock and she bought a Samsung Tab A8 for $125. It looks like the Vankyo S8 is now on sale at least in the US.

I don't know with all the things going on with Huawei if it would be a good buy. As far as I know they can't use the Google Play Store now.

Yes that I what I am worried about with Huawei. Current products are still coming with Google play but would be really annoying if it stops working in the future. Might just try vankyo and return it if it's no good. Just can't decide which one. There is either the s20 or s30. But then there is the Z10 which I think may be an older model but it seems to have a higher screen resolution it's full hd. Don't know how that compares really

The Vankyo has a IPS display which is a plus. According to Vankyo the S30 is only available in the US unless that has changed. It's selling here for $137 which is a pretty good price for the specs. It has 1920 x 1200 resolution but on a 10" tablet that may make things look a little small.

I would check out the one star ratings. It seems a person hated the sound and another said malware was loaded on the ROM. The one star reviews are not many. If the tablet has a return policy if you don't like it then it seems like a good buy.
