Someone on >> Quora, has the exact same question that you have.

What tablet to use?

You can use any size tablet from 10.9" to 13.0" windows tablet, chrome tablet, apple tablet, android tablet.

Hello Sheetal,

First of all, I'm not an POS expert, but as per my research there are many vendors provide customized pos software as per your requirement.

You can add, remove, upgrade, and edit the solution so that it fits your business standards. However, not all POS software applications are flexible enough to be customized. So, before you make a purchase, check the flexibility of the POS software and ask the vendor if the system can be customized to fit the particular business structure.

Thank you.

Many POS Creators make their Systems in a way that almost all connected stuff has to be supplied by them.

The given reason is to insure that the system is difficult to Hack. Whereas, that is almost certainly true, it also guarantees more profit for them

I want to know the scenarios How is it possible to connect a tablet to a POS system and use it as the customer display?

Is it one of those interactive displays where the customers can use the touch screen to interact with whatever is being displayed or is it just a regular non interactive display that doesnt need the touchscreen?

Cause i think its better to just use cheap computer monitors instead if you have a non interactive display item so no need to buy a "POS" software xD
