Been trying to find a suitable OTG adaptor for my tablet. Tried a POSUGEAR micro OTG and a UGREEN OTG, neither worked and had to send back. I contacted the seller of the UGREEN regarding non-working and they recommended contacting the manufacturer! Not easy. Tried Samsung UKd., and got lost in cyberspace with their support questionaire. There was a option for paying for advice but I declined with giving my c/card for $1 payment.

Anyone familiar with this situation?

Appreciate anybody who has a Samsung tablet and has achieved OTG connection

Thanks to Chris Cosgrove for his reply to my OTG issue.

Having tried the 2 cable/adaptors that I mentioned, together with OTG Troubleshooter and USB OTG Checker - couldn't find " OTG Status" in Play Market, I still couldn't connect.

Alas I had to return the cable/adaptors within the returns period, since neither connected, so I have nothing to connect with now!

Any further advice for me?

As far as I can see there is nothing special about these cables, they are not cross-wired or anything like that so they should just work. The only thing I can think of is are you connecting with the tablet on or off ?  Try the other.

Yes, I think too, the only problem should be in connector. Cables are ussually fine.

I finally achieved moving pictures from my Nikon camera to the tablet via USB.

After searching the net many times I came across a vid., that told me I needed to download an app., from the Play Store, which in my case was Nikon Image Space. Was not straightforward but nevertheless, persevered and presto, I was registered.

So I can now upload to the tablet and/or the website.

AMAZIN'.
