Running out of Cloud Space.

We have a couple of I phone that have thousands of pictures on them. To alleviate this problem we want to store most of these pictures on our PC.

Is it necessary yo get a third party program to do this or is there some other simple way that will accomplish the same thing?

The PC is on W10

Both  I phones are IOS 17.1.2

Thanks

You can transfer photos from an iPhone to a PC without third party software using the built-in Photos app. See this article on Microsoft's website for exact details.

Thank you for the reply,  I had a look at what you suggested but I could not find where I can choose to load the location for the pics I want to download.  I am probably blind. I would initially load them into a file on the Desktop and from there to various folders in the picture library.

Okay, I managed to figure out how to place the transferred pictures in a folder on the desktop.  However, some of the pictures will not display if I go to view them on the PC?
