I do not use smart view and noticed that the application is running, using 8mb of ram and I cannot stop the app.

Can anyone tell me how this app can be stopped if at all?

8megs of RAM is nothing to be concerned about.

I would expect an answer like that from you.

I suppose the fact the frequency is high is meaningless and the fact that I never use the product means nothing.

So what would be considered too much ram?

Is my phone hampered by having only 3.8gigs free nope it's not so as I said 8megs of ram is nothing. Hell my first pc had only 8megs of ram back in 1993. This is 2024. You love nitpicking and causing fights.

I have also stated that you can create your own rom. You could call it CompisOS and load only what you want.

I also have a Samsung s23 ultra. It's a nice phone with no issues.

Once again you missed the point.

Smartview is not being used at all on my android. i have never used it and it was installed when a update was available. Since I am not using Smartview it is using memory of 8mg and shows as  high frequency. So according to you 8mb of memeoryu is totally acceptable for a function that is not in use!

It's 8megs not 16gigs.

8,192kb that's 9 3.5" inch floppies

I'm 1993 8megs of ram was big not today.

Quit arguing over small things and starting ridiculous trollish posts.

Smart View is a default Samsung App. It wasn't installed as an update. It's been on all my phones since my note 8.

On mine it's bundled with smart things.

And yes 8megs is very very very small compared to what 8gigs on yours?
