So I accidentally tapped a link in my text in my phone from a scam. I suspect this is phishing. What are the chances I downloaded a virus and what can i do? It redirected me to a webpage warning me that my connection is not secure and ask if I wish to proceed which I didn't.

Edit: thanks @buddy215 ! I forgot to mention it's android phone.

If the phone is not an Android one please tell us what OS is being used. The malware removal forum is

for Windows OSes.

You can install any anti malware apps like Norton 360, Malwarebytes and Smart phone cleaner to remove malware on phones.
