I have been having so many problems with my ALL of my devices, that if I ever got to actually use a device without a problem Id think I died & went to heaven!
While having trouble with my other Android echoing & showing fake websites spelled one letter off, someone purchased a Tribute Dynasty for me, which started having similar issues within 2 weeks. I think this was found in developer options?? Or debug? Cant recall but can someone tell me if/how significant finding this notice is?

It just sounds like the phone was rooted\jailbroken.

WARNING: The procedure below could make your phone completely unusable, so I would only do it if the phone is otherwise not working:

You could try to follow this video in reverse, but I don't know if it would make things better or worse. Note: this video is for turning developer mode ON. In your case, you want to turn developer mode OFF by flipping the Developer mode slider to OFF:

Im sure you would agree... when a consumer makes the CHOICE to jailbrake their personal phone, so they can access features otherwise not available, it Is JUST rooted.
However, if I was given a BRAND NEW PHONE in the (yes) opened box but set up & ready to use with a month of minutes & the receipt dated that day... It would be an intelligent assumption, if they rooted the phone before giving it to me, this person had malicious intents & this would justify if I noticed something wrong, & said this phone is hacked!
Considering Ive had almost 2 years of stress while repeatedly trying to open an online business (obviously requiring my bank & my customers bank info) to no avail! Ive had repeated issues with security & even my searches being controlled, that this falls under more like being hacked rather than just rooted? Would that be the proper terminology?
What can I do about this? Is there a legal avenue I could/should take? I have lost a couple thousand dollars, because of all of this. Not to mention the mental stress! Their family owns a small computer business 2 towns over, that I THINK does IT SECURITY? A group of us went to see the new business where of course I asked some valid questions. The son-in-law made me look like a fool in front of a large group of people, laughing at me, & said I was PARANOID, everyone thinks theyre being hacked, what is so important about me?
Finally, can any tech person tell if a device is rooted?

I just saw this thread and cant believe the last comment. Ive experienced this exactly but I rang someone to ask for advice only to have an ambulance arrive as they thought id gone crazy. I would love to know what it means. my phone was acting strange so i factory reset and saw this. everynight i plug my phone in and theough the night there are constant changes made to it. apps being downloaded from google play store only to be deleted a few minutes later. changes to accessibility modes, files being sent through google drive. my contacts being labelled, screen recording turned on. I cannot understand how this os happening. I guess maybe google developers having access, Ive found ot impossible to get serious advice on this and its understandable that I have people questioning my sanity. If anyone can advise me what to do in this situation please do. my relationship, my studies and life as a whole has been ruined by this. thankyou
