Why is Google giving users antimalware software

https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/google/android-15-google-play-protect-get-new-anti-malware-and-anti-fraud-features/

Wouldn't it make more sense to allow users to remove unwanted software or better yet have a user configurable Firewall that allows users to decide what apps have access  to WIFI or mobile data? How is there antimalware software suppose to identify malware and stop it?

Why not create your own phone rom and call it CompisOS and distribute it with your wants and needs instead of complainig about nothing that is critical to your security.

I have shown you several times in several threads about this issue applications you can use to configure access to sites from your phone, bur yet you continue to troll.

I have explained that you can create your own phone rom and have access to your firewall called iptables since its part of the linux kernel. Creating your own phone rom would also allow you to install your very own applications and to completely degoogle it and remove "unwanted applications" with ease.

Google is not giving anything away for free. They are tightening the controls on AndroidOS and embedding into the OS those features to help communicate with their serves when a user tries to install a malicious app from the Play store so that it can be removed from the store.
