Hi all,

I have a Nokia Lumia 630 running Windows Phone 8.1 and want to use it as a webcam on a Windows 8.1 Toshiba

I found this web article and started following it

http://www.wikihow.com/Connect-Nokia-Mobile-Camera-to-PC

I installed the Nokia PC Suite on the PC, and at some point in the installation it started trying to make the connection to the phone.  Somewhere along the line I got a message saying that my phone was in file transfer mode and I would need to exit this before continuing. After 45 mins on the net I couldn't find any way to change the phone "mode". Most of the advice takled about taking the PCSuite option, an option which never appeared.

The PC Suite doesn't self-activate when I plug in the phone, and I cant get it to recognize the phone when I manually invoke the programme.

Now getting really frazzled. Could you lovely folk at BP help me through this quagmire?

Kenny
