Hello everybody! I am struggling to get high FPS on my gaming laptop. I know gaming laptops are typically rather bad, but I am trying to play battlebit, a blocky FPS, and average around 40-60 FPS in most combat areas at low settings and don't understand how I am performing so poorly.

I have already tried the following:

  1. updated my drivers
  2. set the default graphics card to my dedicated GPU
  3. changed my game's settings to low
  4. changed my monitor and in game settings down to 1080p
  5. ran some tests on performance test. Screenshot attached

I just want to figure out what is wrong with this dumb laptop to get serviceable FPS.

Not enough information, as well incomplete model information... Missing letters and numbers, should be on the bottom of it.

After this was posted later in the night, somebody saw my task manager while the game was running and noticed a background app related to Xbox Game Bar and I deactivated it and now am running an average of 100fps so I am happy.

Resolved.
