D3D9 games lack brightness and contrast.

It started a while after I got a new 4K HDR monitor, but I don't think that's the cause. Games that use D3D9 look dark and dull.

Download and install Speccy - https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

Run it, and then go to File and Publish Snapshot. Post the resulting link in your next reply

Go into your amd settings and check your direcrx settings and what games does this happen?

Go into your amd settings and check your direcrx settings and what games does this happen?

1. I don't think there is any specific setting for Directx;

2. Sonic Mania, for example.

 

The only thing I'm able to do for now is to have an individual setting in AMD Adrenaline for these games with contrast increased alot.
