XBOX ONE headet issue

Hi

since monday my nephews headset will not work anymore, there is no sound coming from it and he cannot use the mic either, we have tried another headset and another controller ( both mine and working fine ) same issue on his will not work, we also looked online and checked the settings in xbox etc all are correct, we have also done a "soft " factory reset but to no avail, any ideas on this as it is really strange?

By the way, do you know how to connect the controller from Xbox ONE to the computer?

I have the same problem. There is a solution? What kind of headset do you have?

Have you tried running a power cycle that can rest software eliminating any glitches. Perhaps it will be helpful. This process doesn't erase game data

I agree that there are so some issues with the headset because there are a lot of problems with that and I hope that it can work since there are so many people who have become interested to change this and I’m sure it can change. I hope that it can continue since there are many people who have problems.
