I just got a new setup for the house, but im not sure ive got everything setup right because im not getting anywhere near the speeds im paying for. So the new setup is: spectrum 400mbps package with their modem thats good for upto around 900s mbps i belive, a netgear xr1000 gaming router, and an xbox series s (projector for the screen if that matters) all new out of the box. Ive ran speed tests on speedtest.net, spectrum.net, the xbox console and the dumaos app; running wifi: when it first starts up it tests at around 150 mbps, dumaos is showing it spiking up and down the entire time tho. If i test it more than once it seems to slow down every time and ive only gpt about a half hour to an hour of time before it cuts out completely and i have to unplug and resart the modem and router to get connection back. Using an ethernet cable straight to the console i get no connection at all. Ive tried to do some digging around to find anything that might help and haven't found anything... all equipment and drivers are up to date, the router is in the middle of a table lifted on a stand to keep cool and ist getting hot or overheating, the console and router are an arms legnth away, ive tried changing the dns to 1.1.1.1 and 2nd to 1.0.0.1 and that was actually slower. Everything else seems to need me to have a computer to change other settimg and ive been doing everything over an android (s20). Do i need a computer or is there something else i just didnt find? Pre thank to any help!

Oh, congrats for having a new setup. I think it is best to give it some time to warm up or check the connection just to make sure. You might as well want to try rebooting it as well.
