I know nothing about cell phones, my Wife has had an Android cell phone for about one year.

She was always able to send e-mails to our computer until about one month ago, now her phone tells her that the user name and password do not match.

I do not use G mail for e mail on my computer, so do they mean the password on her phone?

She can still send e-mail to anyone else except our computer.

I do have a Google account on my computer that they made me change the password on with one of their dopey security checks, could that be the problem?

I get e-mails from everyone else.

I seem to remember her somehow tying her phone into our computer when she set her phone up, but I may be wrong,

Please, any advice you have, word it for a one year old, because I know nothing about those phones!

It is the Google Account you changed on your Computer.

I do have a Google account on my computer that they made me change the password on with one of their dopey security checks, could that be the problem?

As the passwords no longer match you can no longer do that as per what you have said.

I do not do phone to computer myself so I am not sure how she can change here password to match.   You would need to use Help on Google Mail page and Windows.

There is a ton of stuff from Start-->Search type Phone    As well from Settings-->Phone.

The phone should tell you to login again and let you change the password.
