Remove data from Honor Mobile Phone

A few days ago my mobile phone went blank and would not do anything.  I could not see the screen.  I am wanting to remove the data from it but the problem I am getting is that in order to do that with an app like VYSOR it asks for ADB debugging to be switched on.  Obviously, not being able to access the phones functions means I cannot do it.

I have tried to restore it using the buttons and watched some youtube videos on the subject but nothing.

Questions:

How can I access the phone to remove the data?

Is there a way of resetting the phone?

Does anyone have any tips or tricks please?

Don't do a reset or you will lose your data. If the phone doesn't turn on you will probably have to consult a professional data recovery service unless the data was on a SD card formatted for portable use.
