Howdy, everyone
I found a NOS, 6GB Creative Nomad Jukebox thats showing no signs of life. It has a fresh set of fully charged NiMH AAs, the power supply is putting out the rated 12 volts. Opening the player up shows a pristine motherboard with no signs of damage or leakage. I checked for power at the jack and the battery terminals, both are showing the correct voltage. And after many checks I can guarantee the lock switch isnt on.
And yet, pushing the play button elicits absolutely no reaction from the player at all. Nothing on the screen. No attempts at spinning up the hard drive. Its just stone cold dead.
If anyone has any other ideas that might bring this thing back to life, Im all ears.
