The player was connected to PC and synching songs when a short power outage occurred (computer turned off, but power came back immediately). Since then performs a System Checking before boot screens, but instead of completing the process and showing Menu screen, it just turns off.

The player is not recognized by Windows (no icon on the Taskbar/ no USB event sound/ no folder opening), but "feels" power sources:  display lights up if connected either to PC and power bank, obviously not charging battery but only doing System Check and "booting" and turning off (endlessly). In the second boot screen (when R0 appears), there's a message saying "updating the library".

I uploaded a video on Youtube better depicting this problem (but I don't know if I can link it in here!).

What's wrong with it? I hope someone will help me!

I'm sorry, pal, it would appear that you have bricked your device. :( More information on the subject matter here.

What I would suggest to do is to manually reset it (this would delete everything and return it to brand new condition, as it came in the box).

1.Turn off your device
2.Find a tooth pick or something of a similar shape and insert it firmly, but not to harshly (kinda like sex, amirite, lol), into the "Reset" hole at the back of your player
3.Turn on your device

Pretty sure this would fix your problem. :)
