I have a Garmin Nuvi 65LMT GPS. I ran out of memory space so I had to go and buy an SD card for it. Well I didn't know there was a max limit on the size card I could use. I bought a 64 GB when the max allowed is a 32 GB. I can't get the 64 to be recognized at all. Could that be the reason because it's too big so it can't be recognized at all?

Yes, if the owner's manual specifically states that your GPS cannot recognize an SD card bigger than 32 GB, it obviously won't recognize a 64 GB card. This could be due to hardware or software limitations (or even a nasty combination of both). You'll need to return/exchange the 64 GB card for a 32 GB one.

Kind regards,

It doesn't specifically say that it "cannot recognize an SD card bigger than 32 GB", but the point still applies with different wording I assume. Thanks!
