I have a TomTom XL that I have been using for about 2-3 years. I have connected it to a few computers over time with no issues. Then last week I attached my Tomtom GPS nav device to my windows 7 laptop via USB cable. While I was updating and operating my GPS from the laptop all of a sudden my AVG antivirus program said there was a trojan hours in several files on the e: drive which is where the tomtom shows up in windows explorer. The AVG supposedly fixed the virus. Is it possible to get a virus on a portable GPS device? If there is a virus I assume I would just run antivirus software on the GPS while it is attached to a computer.
The tomtom seems to be working just fine when I use it in the car for navigation
Thanks for any help with this issue
