Trump's popularity in the face of his indictments is of course troubling.

What would America look like given his current violent rhetoric, should be on everyone's minds.

But what about the people he would be taking with him if Trump wins the 2024 election?

How serious would be their input to our society?

Trump has collected as support, criminals he'd pardoned as well as extremists and conspiracy theorists that supported Trump's lies of his recent past, the overthrow of a legal Presidential election often being a focus.

'Team of felons': Pardoned criminals, conspiracy theorists backing Trump's 2024 run

Briefly:

Trump is embracing his crew of convicted criminals, conspiracy theorists and the most outlandish of his high-profile backers. They played key roles in some of the most infamous aspects of his past campaigns and his presidency — particularly the effort to overturn the 2020 election that culminated in a mob of Trump supporters storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 — and their continued influence could have real-world implications.

------

Political experts say that could be a recipe for an explosive second Trump administration stocked with extreme figures who might feel empowered to pursue an agenda unconstrained by the rule of law, or traditional democratic norms and values.

Not only an issue of authoritarian rule,  it's looking like Outlaw America is the next chapter in the history of the USA if Trump wins.
