The disregard for norms and the stomach turning videos of the Capital being stormed was so strange over a orange skinned hair flipper of a con man.  Weird. Just Weird.

These are the days of strangeness.

Super meth and fentanyl addictions rage in our society.

Gun violence escalates.

Hate and racism became acceptable by many.

Health is politicized within antivaxx cults.

Perversions common place.

People hate the sex they are born with and are, in turn, hated for their unhappiness.

The 'new pro lifer'------->"God hates you and you're simply going to have to die for it"

And patriots defend the enemy.

So what does the majority party in the House of Representatives do.....one might ask?

Choose a majority leader that was complicit in the attempted overthrow of the government he represents.

Is there anything in this world that anyone can agree on??  Every action draws a line that divides the masses into two dissenting views.  Politics, housing, wages, police, pick any and you will find a line that divides everyone into opposing views and actions.  Regardless of any political election, it will result in more bashing and accusations on one side and  the same from the opposition in the never ending battle.

For one, the selfish concept of 'meism'.

That would be agreement within factions, so....yes, there is.

Actions define the limits of agreement.

example:

Some people want addictive drugs, some don't.

The results define acceptability.

When I see what is happening to our neighbours to the south, I become grateful that I live in a Constitutional Monarchy.

Although it does have some flaws, they are outweighed by the benefits.

Our Parliament has evolved over the centuries, from the Anglo-Saxon Witan to its current form.

The basic principles, after 1,600 years, are still the same.

Choose the person who you feel would best represent your Riding to be your Member of Parliament.

The North West Territories are an excellent example of the original Witan.

In NWT elections, candidates are not permitted to run as representatives of any political party.  They must be elected on their own merit.

Government is done by consensus, not by conflict.

James Madison had the unenviable task of being the architect of the American Constitution.  He had to present a Parliamentary style government to people who wanted nothing to do with the British.

Even as the Americans were voting to accept his proposal, Madison knew there were flaws.  He was working on amendments while the debate was still taking place.

I believe that if Madison saw the US political landscape as it is today, he would be horrified!

Ya I live in the above as well in a vote your dictator in for 5yrs. Very appeasing to both/all sides to be sick and tired of what they have done or sometimes it can take 15yrs or so.

I do agree that the 1st framers of US Constitution/papers would be horrified that it has not been amended more to meet the changing world within and without.  

They did not have much for-site when there should have been a clause for a gathering of representatives of equal proportion to make amendments at least every 100 yrs.  Regardless of States wishes. 

A 236 yr old document with minimal updating.   That is what ya call strange when something does not evolve.

Donald Trump is doing irreparable damage to the USA right now even though hes not president, The things he has said in regard to trade and defense treaties ... " gone on day 1 of my presidency "  who in their right mind would do business with the USA even with Biden as president? Any deal you make or treaty you sign will be gone should Trump win the next election.

Sorry USA but your allies are starting to re evaluate the benefits of  trading with you. Nobody like a flip flopping government
