Hello!  Been working on this for a while to no avail yet...

Parts:

Intel Core i3-13100 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor

Gigabyte Z790 AERO G ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Crucial Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL46 Memory

Asus STRIX GeForce GTX 970 4 GB Video Card

Used Q-Flash (actually worked...I think) and updated to F10b

Installed CPU, RAM, GPU and M2-Gen 4 and powered up

With no integrated graphics I'm relying on the GPU to boot so I can access bios for now at least, no luck far

For this board there are 4 LEDs that cycle as you boot, mine is briefly lighting up on CPU, RAM, GPU and remaining on BOOT (stays lit), which I expect, since I haven't installed an OS, but I don't get any video output and the GPU cycles (not a complete power recycle, just the GPU)

Not sure what to do here.  I have another (newer) GPU, but this is compatible.

On Ram, I tried the A2 and B2 slots for dual channel, and have tried booting with 1 stick in the A2 and the B2 separately.  (I don't believe it to be a RAM error...LED says Okay...but it's Gigabyte, so....)

Any thoughts?  Next step is to tear down another build and steel the 3080 Ti and see how if it boots but I'll be without a PC.

It does support IGPU.

The CPU has integrated UHD 730 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/230575/intel-core-i313100-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-50-ghz/specifications.html

The board has both DP and HDMI  https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-AERO-G-rev-10/sp#sp

Thanks OldsOd,

My bad, it's the i3-13100F (No discrete Graphics)

Boards has one HDMI out.  The DP is a passthrough to USB-C (Vision Link)

No luck with Bois version 9 either.  Must be something silly.

Please, first check to see if the exact  RAM you are using is in fact on the QVL from gigabyte https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-AERO-G-rev-10/support#support-memsup

If not found,  then the RAM being used could be at fault and be the issue.

Secondly check to make sure the socket pins are not bent or broken. Probably not the problem but check anyways.

Thirdly - it's either the CPU or the board at fault. My guess is it is the board.  Send the board back for RMA.

Reset the BIOS back to factory default; I have had two times where a newbuild will not post until I reset the CMOS/BIOS.

If there are no responses to my post for 3 days I remove it from my answer list. If you wish to continue the thread after 3 days please PM me.
