I don't have any experience with Bleeping Computer Deals but looking at the site you need to create a separate account with a different username and password or you can purchase using the guest option where you do not need to create an account but do need to provide a valid email address. From looking at the page for Windows 11 it looks like you can also do an express checkout if you have a PayPal account but I can't confirm that.

I wanted to post this follow up.

Following a suggestion by Porthos and others I installed Windows 11 Pro on my new build and made sure that went well, which it did. I did get the watermark within two days however, and there were a some minor restrictions. I did my Windows install by by making a bootable ISO, from the Windows 11 creation page, on a USB thumb drive using a free program called Rufus.  I recommend it.  There are a few decent videos on youtube that go over it.

Then I took JohnC_21's suggestion and used https://deals.bleepingcomputer.com/ which appears to be a front for stachsocial.com (I say this because their address popped up during my purchase), and that was quick and pretty easy as well.

Thanks again for the help.

Pete

I'm still in my shake down cruise, but here's my new build.

JohnC_21

Thank you.

Now I'm just trying to figure out what kind of game I'd like to play on it. I haven't played in years and even when I did, I was working and didn't have time to get to carried away. Hahaha  I'm thinking I'm just gonna have to go for it.  I see there are some free games listed under the Gaming forum.  Any suggestions?

I'm not a gamer so I can't give you any suggestions, sorry. But, I have heard that Elden Ring is a good game but each person has their own preference on what they like.

I'm more of a plain box type. But each to their own.

PS. When do you get the fish to put in it?Attached File  rofl2.gif   3.39KB   0 downloads

The fish are optional.  So, "plain box"? Sorry this one went right over my head. ;-)

I meant that myself I don't see the need to show off the innards, and definitely not with a disco style light show.

I'm interested in seeing the monitor and the keyboard/mouse, the rest can be out of sight in a plain box/boxes.

But if we were all the same then things wouldn't be as interesting.
