Hello,

I was infected by Cryptolocker in 2014. I know this CryptoUnlockerGUI worked because i could recover many files back then.

Unfortunately i couldn't finish recover everything in 2014 and now in 2021 i just found this HDD i thought i lost! I would love to get all my files back since it was designs i made :)

If anyone has a copy of it, could you kindly sent it to me via PM?

Thank you so much. Really appreciated.

The master decryption keys for Cryptolocker were found and released during Operation Tovar which allowed FireEye and Fox-IT to provide a method of possibly retrieving a victim's private decryption key and a decrypter to use to decrypt their files.

However, FireEye & Fox-IT have since discontinued the DecryptCryptoLocker website and its associated decryption service. As such, FireEye is no longer providing decryption solutions for CryptoLocker...see FireEye Blog: Your Locker of Information for CryptoLocker Decryption.

The FireEye & Fox-IT decryptcryptolocker.com website posted the below comment shortly before closing.

In August 2014, we launched our website to help the victims of the CryptoLocker malware. We are happy to have helped more than five thousand individuals and small businesses. CryptoLocker, unfortunately, has inspired criminals all over the world. We have seen more than 20 copycat ransomware attacks since the original CryptoLocker, some of which use the same name, modus operandi and layout as the original CryptoLocker. We believe that our Decryptolocker site has served its purpose, and we have decommissioned it given that the threat landscape has evolved.

If no other victims reply, you can try contacting the developer, Nathan Scott, at Decryptorbit@outlook.com, linkedin.com/in/NathanMScott or Malwarebytes and ask if he can provide you with a download link if the tool is even still available.

Couldn't see an attachment button in the private message so i'll upload it here

it'll only work if you have the right key though and if it was the original cryptolocker
