Win 11 ver 22H2 os build 22621.2134

I was having difficulty downloading and installing Oracle's virtual machine.

I read an article that said certain virtual machines will not run on some versions of Windows 11. It will download but it won't install

Does anyone know anything about this incompatibility or malfunction?

It does not matter as I have read this several times and the issue is settled.

You either mean Oracle's VirtualBox, or a copy of Oracle Linux.

VirtualBox lets you run virtual VMs on your system.

Oracle Linux is a Linux server based on Fedora.

NOTE : @PDN you are not getting replies as suspect as per above you are supplying enough System Information nor enough info on the problem and as well what you have tried to do to fix this problem.

With 581 + Posts you should know by now what is required.  (note this as of late with all posts Win11. Not looking back further but it is a bad habit. You have been notified.)

Asus Z390 and what have run is not enough system information.      As well is totally a incorrect description as what is this M/B a : Z390-A, Z390-E Gaming, Z390-H  ????

Just want to mention that (if have not done so before with you is) The Windows Store has now become a Essential Part of Updating Windows 11.  Open store--> Go down left side to Library-->install only what you use or is needed.

It does not take much to type in Start Search : System Information          It is all there.  Give it a try.

Still unclear n what you are trying to install -- Oracle VirtualBox, or an Oracle Linux VM. Please clarify.

FWIW, in another post in another topic, the OP (PDN) mentioned Oracle VirtualBox by asking: "Is VirtualBox from Oracle worth a try for a person who is unfamiliar with VMs?"

So, the above is likely the specific software he is asking about, and it is compatible with Windows 11. (Respectfully submitted and rewritten for clarity.)
