Acer unveiled two new Windows 10 gaming laptops at CES 2019, the 17-inch Predator Triton 900 with a 4K display and the slimmer Predator Triton 500 which comes with a 15-inch 1080p screen panel, both bundling the NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.

Both gaming notebooks come with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2080 GPU which features latest-gen real-time ray tracing capabilities, as well as ultra-fast GDDR6 memory.

Both laptops come with Intel's Core i7- 8750H CPU

"We are pushing the envelope on what a gaming notebook can be with designs that offer more uses while still packing in the computing power," stated Jerry Hou, Acer's Consumer Notebooks and IT Products Business.

Moreover, "The Predator Triton 900’sone-of-a-kind flipping screen allows for multiple gaming scenarios and better ergonomics, while the Triton 500 offers superb gaming performance in a slimmer, all-metal body for gamers on the go," also said Hou.

The two gaming laptops also feature Intel's Core i7- 8750H CPU platform and NVMe PCIe SSD drives for the fastest possible data transfer speeds.

"8th Gen Intel Core H-series processors are designed as a complete platform that combines industry-leading notebook computing performance and technologies that are increasingly critical for premium gaming and content creation," said Chris Walker, Client Computing VP at Intel.

"CPU performance is key to the best possible gaming experience, and the new Predator Triton gaming notebooks put this performance and robust platform on full display with innovative designs," also said Walker.

Acer's new Predator Triton gaming laptops come in two configurations each, with the 900 to be released in March with price tags starting at $3,999 (€4,199) and the 500 in February priced at $1,799 (€1,999).

Acer will also launch the PredatorSense smartphone app during 2019 which will allow Predator Triton owners to control multiple features, ranging from overclocking and fan speeds to their notebooks' lighting and audio modes.

Available later this year, the PredatorSense mobile app gives control of the Predator PC from a smartphone. The app can control settings for overclocking, fan speeds, lighting, and audio modes. Users can show active lighting profiles preset on the PC, or switch lighting profiles remotely. Additionally, users can view and set customized macro key sets for physical hotkeys.
