Test 5 could do test 8 as well.  If nothing has changed from last I needed to use it.  Those would have been the most recommended at the time.  Not really paid much attention to it.

I can't seem to get Memtest to work right now. I have the image written on my USB drive but the program doesn't start when I reboot. I think I have to change to UEFI boot, but I can't seem to access my boot screen. I've tried spamming F2, F8, F10, and F12 but my computer doesn't give the alternative boot screen when I boot up. I'll have to work more on this. seems like a stupid road block (skill issue lol).

I did run the windows memory diagnostic though. It reported no issues.

While in my event viewer, I did see a Warning item: Event 10016, Distributed COM. I've attached an image of that event.

My SFC scan from last week also shows issues with a "system.data.entity.dll" file...

Any clue as to what these things are about (Event viewer warning & .dll corruption)? Any way to fix these?

So all your testing with sticks means nothing, do Memtest and get it done.

It takes nothing to Update the BIOS once found 1 stick of good ram and it is in it's appropriate slot as per your manual.

There is no more coming back and forth.  Fix it or buy 2 matched ram sticks from the listed compatible ram off of your QVL in the Support Page and stick in appropriate slot.

There is no delay, got it done or not.   This takes priority over games and life.  I hope do not own a car.

Will borrow A Quote from @PhillPower2

How to physically test your RAM.

The following checks require the computer case to be opened so take the following safety precautions 1st, disconnect the power cord from the wall socket, press the case power button for twenty seconds or so to get rid of any residual charge in the system, take anti static precautions before touching anything inside, you can do this by touching a bare metal part of the case or PSU or if a notebook by touching a household radiator or associated copper feed pipe.

Have a pencil and notepad to hand.

Remove each stick of RAM and blow out the memory slots.

Insert the first stick of RAM in memory slot A2 which is the second slot away from the CPU, reconnect the power and in the case of a desktop computer the video to screen cable and the keyboard.

Power up the computer and see how it goes.

Make a note of the results.

Repeat the procedure until the first stick of RAM has been tested in each memory slot and the results written down.

Remove the first stick of RAM and put it to one side on top of a piece of paper with the number one on it for identification purposes.

Repeat the procedure with all RAM until each stick has been tested in all slots, the results written down and the sticks identified numerically.

Now the really long winded part;

If no individual stick of memory or slot on the MB has an obvious problem all of the above needs to be repeated but this time by running Memtest 86 for each stick of RAM and in each slot on the MB and for at least 4/5 passes, for some reason that many of us cannot explain a stick of RAM may work in one slot on a MB but not in another.

Thank you for setting my priorities. If this cancer takes my life, I'll be sure to console everyone with "at least I got my memtest86 check complete" on my gravestone.

I hope you own a car, and I hope that you are as happy and free as you assume I am.

Hi, sorry to hear that.  Not to make light of your situation that we have no control over here nor know what is going on with your situation. @ 70yrs old I do have control over tumours removed, 2 Peripheral Artery Disease emergency operations that saved my legs last year and this year, my heart issues, my living conditions and yes I have a understanding of your issue you admit to.

We all handle life differently;  so with that said there still is the issue with your system and If you have intentions to follow up on your system issue or not. It was the intention of the post and yes to get a response of what was going on such as fixed or not or yes have passed my memtest86 and yes no still need help to figure out the issue.

Regardless of the system have only good thoughts for you.
