One final comment to add before I rest this topic. Today I received a TP Link AX1800 USB adapter.....Same results as the junk onboard Intel AC3168....So I'll stick with what I had yesterday and keep the ethernet connected to all the mesh routers and get 360 speed...60 over what I pay for. Thanks everyone who responded.

For both/any hardware check for Firmware Updates : Would think this is your new USB : https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-ax1800/

so make sure it is version 4.6 i think if above is correct.  Need to read as to correct or not,

As MTB Report showed a TLS connection error would make sure you are running the correct version : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/security/tls/transport-layer-security-protocol

As well make sure have hardware/BIOS and software to accomplish this.

Just to go back to your AC3168 are all done on this page that is relevant : https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/94854/intel-dual-band-wirelessac-3168/downloads.html

As well Bluetooth would need updating.

Make sure Fast Start is Disabled : https://www.windowscentral.com/software-apps/windows-11/how-to-enable-or-disable-fast-startup-on-windows-11

and reboot from a complete shutdown.
