Check out the Free Full Computer Games! thread, pinned to the top of this forum.

Epic Games gives away one or two game every week. The games change on Thursday. This week they have Model Builder and Soulstice.

If you have Amazon Prime you can get free games from them also at Prime Gaming.

The Internet Archive has a ton of games. Some you can play in your web browser, others you can download.

The Internet Archive also has old arcade games.

thatieverem is correct RDR2 online or story is a world beater, vast open world story where if you play the character morgan to its conclusion it will give you a vast level of experience to go solo on line to an even vaster map, cd keys have this game at the reduced price of £13.49, check out the walk throughs  on you tube,     we old RDR2 players are waiting for the the third instalment, RDR3, it will be a sell out.

I have played a goodly few games in my time, but I will limit my suggestions to 3 - one MMO, one single player RPG, and one hybrid.

SWTOR on Steam is my current MMO (mind you, the fully free variant is somewhat limited, but if memory serves you can still get thru a few origin stories at least, and those are pretty darn good).

Neverwinter Nights 2 from GOG (old, but the first expansion, Mask of the Betrayer is truly an experience to remember. Original campaign for it is also good, just not quite as spectacular).

Space Pirates and Zombies on Steam - the only Steam game I got every single available achievement in. It's a top-down space shooter with RPG elements to boot. I really enjoyed it.

For the first time in I do not know how many years, I downloaded and played Oktagon, from familygames dot com; from the "More" link.  Fun. Little bit hard.  The application is very light on documentation.  The site also has a few word & letter games for users who are interested.

You appear to have misunderstood my tongue-in-cheek wording.
I was the one "asking for a friend". :-D

Having said that, the question still stands: why did you reply to yourself???
That is spam-like posting behavior.

Respectfully submitted

I've been on the hunt for some new games to sink my teeth into, and your suggestions sound intriguing. I'm particularly drawn to your description of Neverwinter Nights 2 with its Mask of the Betrayer expansion—I'm a sucker for a good RPG experience that leaves a lasting impression.
