Ukraine film 20 Days in Mariupol wins Oscar for best documentary.

 

Mstyslav Chernov, the Director of the film, wishes he never had to make the film.  He wishes that Russia had never invaded his country.

 

He states that he cannot change history.  What he can do is make sure the history is never forgotten, and that the truth will always be told.

 

Available on PBS and Netflix in the US.

 

It is also available on YouTube.  Both geolocated in the US and non-geo.

 

As always, I remind you that it is not suitable for young children.

 

However, if you have older adolescent children or teens who are asking questions, you may consider watching it, to enable yourself to answer them truthfully.
