I am very sad to hear this. Ray became an admin here about the same time I became an admin at Geeks to Go, but our friendship reaches farther back than that. My condolences to the Bleepingcomputer family. He will be missed.

I had very little interaction with Ray, but as with so many others, I could tell he was a decent guy from what I read of some of his posting.
Sure, with a large community like BC, you do have to get a bit 'firm' at times. But there's ways to do it, and then there's ways.....
My thoughts & condolences go out to his family & loved ones. RIP, Animal.....you won't be forgotten in a hurry.
Heaven's gained a very staunch 'linebacker', I feel!

A terrible loss, we need more like Animal here and not less. Best wishes to the family, he was a kind and helpful person as are many that provide help here for free.
If I don't reply right away it's because I'm waiting for Windows 10 to Update.

Never know what to say when these things occur and I guess I never will.
So sad.
My thoughts & condolences go out to his family & loved ones.

I have to stop saying "How stupid can you be?" I think people are taking it as a challenge.
Never underestimate the power of stupid. It can’t be reasoned or negotiated with and you’ll never never beat it…. Cut your losses, smile and walk away

I'm devastated about this news and saddened further on hearing about it so late. Ray stood head and shoulders above most of the people I've ever met, and was honored to call him a friend. There are very few like him in this world; kind, forgiving, and had a way of having you get closer to him when you disagreed with him--that's rare. Ray was BC's best ambassador and things began to run much more smoothly here when he became an admin. Farewell, my friend, your spirit will live on here at BC but your presence will be missed in ways that are difficult to put into words. My sincere condolences and prayers for the family.
