I hope its not too late for me also to say thanks to him and farewell (sorry if I'm necroing this thread). I've been a member in BC forums since 2007 and would like to pay my respects to him for helping me in some of my forum topics. It's been 13 years now and I just came back to visit, I have learned a lot about computing since then. The knowledge he imparted to me was invaluable.

He was always incredibly helpful and was there for you if you needed him.
